lunch today, homemade and yummy

best bread money can buy (seriously not kidding) from meyers deli in copenhagen - "ølands bread"

//i just realized that i promised you guys to show you the piece of jewellery i bought as a gift to myself the other day - i'm so sorry i forgot:-( the gift was these simple and elegant earrings by dyrberg kern (danish design). when i was younger i was really fond of this brand but lately i think they've had some challenges regarding their designs. these earrings are classic and ideal for work, i think, and that is also how i've always thought of dyrberg kern's jewellery - understated elegance;-)

today, i was supposed to have enjoyed a walk around copenhagen but unfortunately the weather was not for that... in stead i jumped on my bike, spent a fortune on a nice bread from meyers deli and made a delicious lunch. i also tested my skills as a handy woman, which went quite ok actually:-) 

now, i'm off to bed - work is calling tomorrow!!

//being back from a lovely easter holiday at my parents house is nice but i still miss my old whereabouts once in a while...i get a bit nostalgic every time i go back - especially on a day like yesterday, where the weather was sunny and everything looked just the way i remember it from my childhood:-) on the other hand, i enjoy life in copenhagen so much right now that i'm kind of sure that i wouldn't be happy moving back just yet - maybe some day. 

today i've decided to enjoy what my city has to offer and go on a little adventure - i'm so happy i'm free to do these things, and work is not until tomorrow so plenty of time to enjoy;-)

//i'm really feeling easter and enjoying time with my loved ones:-) celebrated bday girl mom yesterday and i wore my favorite by malene birger dress. as i told you guys earlier, this brand usually does not fit my personal style but this style has quickly become a lifesaver in my wardrobe!! 

today i've been lunching at the cutest little place in my home town called olivia brasserie - i had such a nice lunch (ceaser salad with homemade croutons - thumbs up!!, my favorite organic beer also), there was a cosy atmosphere and happy easter people - life is easy and light these days.

btw i treated myself with a small present, which i will show you tomorrow - jewellery is the key word;-)
